Wow!.... All I can truly say is WOW!
This book is for EVERY woman out there! Whether single, courting, engaged, married, widowed, divorced, and contemplating whether you are called to be married! This book has truly opened my eyes to see the truth about "The One". This book isn't your typical "I want to find me a man. How do I get him" book. This book is for the women who desire to HONOR God in holiness, righteousness,& purity in their heart, in their lives, & in their relationship. It amazes me how so many of the questions we as women face were answered in this book. She gave different testimonies, scriptures, points of view, scenarios, and even heart-wrenching questions. Now, if you are getting this book because you are trying to see if it is going to pat you on the back and make you feel good, trust me, you may not get it. You may get your answer and you may not. But this book is a NEED to have and not just a WANT to have. This book is CENTERED around TRUTH! Biblical truth to be exact, & sometimes, the truth hurts. However, Jesus made it clear that the Truth sets us free- that Truth is HIM! I am grateful I read this book. I loved it so much that I am telling EVERYONE about it!!!! Ladies, if you believe this book isn't for you, please share this with someone you believe it is for. Marriage is a BIG deal in the Kingdom of God. However, it is not the REASON we seek God. I love that the center was focused on GOD and not a MAN. This book will help reconstruct what you thought you knew about marriage or it will affirm your knowledge on marriage. This text was helpful for me. Honestly I started read this without even knowing what it was about but was delightfully met with great insight and wisdom.
I read from the perspective of courtship. But I MUST say, this book touched parts of me that have absolutely NOTHING to do with my relationship status and everything to do with my walk with God. Many of the advice and testimony shares here can be applied to every facet of one's life.
I do plan to apply what I have learned in my own ways and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
